Coming to Ford in November 2010..

IT'S A ROCKET!

NO!

IT'S A PLANE!

NO!

IT'S BOTH!

Join us to Build and Launch/Fly this Unique Combination of a Rocket and a Glider Plane!

BUILD AND LAUNCH A

BOOST GLIDER ROCKET

WE WILL BE CONSTRUCTING A ROCKET AND A GLIDER PLANE

The rocket carries the glider plane up, releases it and returns   while the plane glides back to earth.

This is a brand new Rocket for Liftoff!  We will build the Balsa Glider and test it to see its flight pattern.  We will learn to "trim" it with Clay, to make it glide in the direction we wish it to go!

Then we will construct the Rocket which will carry the Glider into space and release it. The Rocket will come down with a streamer and the Glider will glide back to earth!

WE ARE SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS NEW PROGRAM!!

SEE YOU SOON!

OUR TALLEST ROCKET YET!

Build and Launch this awesome Rocket!!

Modeled to resemble an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile, this rocket looks every bit the part!  Our Ford Students will be the first to Build and Launch the awesome

PENETRATOR MISSILE!

at almost 3 feet tall, it is the tallest rocket we have in our School Programs, and is quite a site lifting off the Launch Pad!

Challenging to build but not difficult, this class is appropriate for K-5th Grade.

We only have room for 30 students and these classes get filled up quickly!

This is a 2-Day class:

Class A:  Wed March 24 and Launch Friday March 26

or

Class B:  Thurs March 25 and Launch March 26

A HOLIDAY THANK YOU FOR OUR SOLDIERS IN IRAQ

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com , you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and send it to a service person who is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and only takes a second.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if our service men and women received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers need to know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time, and then pass it on to others. We can never say enough thank you's.

BIG OL' FAT BABY BERTHA COMING TO FORD!

This is one of our favorite rockets!
It is challenging enough for established Rocketeers and appropriate for First Time Rocket Students.

Classes are kept small so we have a lot of "one-on-one" with the students.

Class A- Tues Nov 10 , Wed Nov 11,
Launch on Thurs Nov 12

SCHOOL. IS BACK!

Ford started the year out with a wonderful
TEACHER APPRECIATION
Lunch

Wow!  The PTA at Ford is amazing!

They orchestrated a fantastic Teacher Luncheon and orientation.

Mr. David volunteered to be the "Grillmaster" along with Joe Faires.
Northwest Bank loaned the massive grill that cooked hotdogs and chicken.

They had a huge and delicious spread of food for the teachers and staff and nothing was burned from the grill!

"Expect Success" is the Theme
as seen on the delicious cake!

This is a one day class - a combination of wood shop and electronics.  You will build your own Launch Pad and Controller!  A complete Launch Station!  Now you can Launch your rockets whenever you like!  This sturdy equipment can last forever!

If you have Rockets you need a launch Station!

This Class will only be given once per year. There will be only 15 students in a class with 3 teachers.  It is very one-on-one!

There are only 45 spots and we have close to 300 Ford Rocketeers...Best to get your registration/tuition in as fast as possible to guarantee enrollment.
