ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

THE GREAT EGG CHALLENGE

is rated by our students who have participated in this program as “Awesome and Ultra Cool”!

We will be constructing a Large Rocket that holds a RAW EGG which will be sent into Space!

 The Challlenge,

should you choose to accept it, is to have YOUR

EGG-STRONAUT  land safely, not broken and CLOSEST to the Launch Pad.  He who accomplishes this feat, will win a Game Stop Gift Card!

Should your mission fail, you are still a winner! If your EGG-STRONAUT be the farthest from the pad and injured, you will receive the Good Sport Prize!

Everyone is a Winner in this Challenge – Everything is included!

Baby Bertha Launch Day was a huge success!  Other than flying saucers, this is the first "Real" rocket these students constructed, and they did a fantastic job!

THE BIG OL'  FAT BABY BERTHA ROCKET IS COMING TO HAYES!

This is one of our favorite rockets!
It is challenging enough for established Rocketeers and appropriate for First Time Rocket Students.

This is  a 2-day class.

On Tuesday, March 30th

We will construct 90% of our rocket,  decorate, and Prep it for Flight for Launch Day.  Students will learn about engines, insulation, Flight, and Launch Day procedures.

Thursday April 1st is Launch Day!

On Launch day the Rockets will be  given to the students (theirs to keep after Launching).  Students will launch their rockets once, individually, and then in a drag race with their friends,, usually 5 in the air at once!  Lots of fun!

             FLYING SAUCER INVASION AT

HAYES ELEMENTARY!

DSCN9160

We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring our FLYING SAUCER WORKSHOP to your school.

Classes will take place the week of October 12th.

This is a 2-day class

On day one
students totally construct and design their flying saucers.

Their saucers are then taken back to the Rocket Shop where they are dried.

Day two of the class is LAUNCH DAY!

Everyone is invited, parents, grandparents, etc. and be sure to bring a chair and a camera!  Students will launch their saucers twice, once individually and the second time in a drag race with friends!  It is tons of fun! A real BLAST!

Since this year is the 40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, we will be learning about that historic event in our classes as well.

A percentage of tuition is donated to your school.
