FLYING SAUCER WORKSHOP

     Build and Launch Your Own Flying Saucer

   
We are so happy to have this opportunity to bring our Rockety Programs to Murdock ES!


Our programs are in 13 Cobb County Elementary schools and  we have been sharing these programs with students for the last 6 years! 

We have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Hanauer, your new Principal, for about 5 years as we have had, and still have, a very successful Rocketry Program at Due West ES.  She is a Great Person and a Great Principal too!


The Flying Saucer Workshop is an introduction to Model Rocketry.  Most students have never built a model or know about engines, launches, etc.  This program is challenging enough for all ages.  

The first day, Students will totally construct their Flying Saucers.  We will go over engines, and Launch Day procedures

Launch day is the BEST!  The students will see their "creations" take  flight, and we can tell you that the self-esteem and feeling of accomplishment these kids experience when their Flying Saucers hit the sky, is phenomenol. 

Parents are invited to Launch Day to count down, cheer, and take pictures!  All this information will come to you via email, after you enroll.

Students  keep  their Flhying Saucers to Launch many more times.
