WHAT IS THE NAR - NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ROCKETRY?

The NAR is the oldest and largest sport rocketry organization in the world. Since 1957, over 80,000 serious sport rocket modelers have joined the NAR to take advantage of the fun and excitement of organized rocketry.

The boy scouts, civil air patrol, army and airforce all follow the safety rules set by the NAR.  There is a  ton of info about the NAR on their site at:   www.nar.org

Liftoff! is Chapter #676 of the NAR.

We follow the rules of the NAR, and put safety first at all times.

If a Launch is postponed due to inclement weather, there is a good reason.

It is all about safety.  Keeping the kids safe is #1! Always!

Once a year, we give away two youth memberships to the NAR! The winners in 2008  were Cameron D. from Chalker and Zach K. from Kemp.
Our newest winners in 2009 are Lucas B from Chalker
and Morgan S. from Lewis.

This raffle is held in April of every year.  Check out on how to become a member and the cool benefits of being one!
